Having worked for a while now with calendar creations for digital picture frames, I have worked out some designs that I like to use in my own Pandigital picture frame. Looking at the calendar display that came with the frame, I was immediately disappointed with the built in features, and the way it displayed my photos. After reinventing the wheel with conventional looking calendars I created myself, I tried styles using landscape and portrait layouts.
Though these designs were much better than the built in job, I thought about what I was trying to showcase with my own calendar. Certainly, I wanted the ability to see dates and events, but I also wanted the end result to primarily showcase the pictures I used for my calendars. When I got the idea to use variations on perpetual calendars by day of the year, or daily designs which included events, I started seeing more of what I wanted my picture frame calendar to do for me. What I settled for was a design with plenty of room to see the matted photos I wanted to look at, plus working in the data I wanted from a calendar. Whether you like traditional or some of the designs presented on this site, I can put together a calendar that meets your needs. For a higher resolution look at the design, click on the picture.
