I call this next item “Ozark Island” inspired by a small island in the middle of Lake Taneycomo in the Branson Missouri area. I liked the way this picture and matting combination came together, so I decided to see what others think about the design. For a higher resolution look, click on the image.
High Places
This post is another enhanced textured flower macro shot with added photo matting to compliment the theme of the work. I liked the way this effect came out, so I am sharing this multi purpose template with my site audience. If you would like to purchase a copy of this work without the copyright watermark, pay $3, send in an email and I will shoot a copy out to you. For a closer look at the effects, click on the image.
Composite Images
The following design started with a picture of some fluffy clouds, then transformed into the final multi purpose template shown below. Using the right textures, coloration and shapes associated with clouds, I can create my own universe of planets for a variety of themes. Digital Image Design
In this selection, the perspective and smoky bubble lens effects give this photo a certain “other worldly” quality that I liked about it. The multi purpose template design allows you to create various treatments of the picture, including calendar, inspiration, greeting card, or even an award design just by adding text and saving a copy. Multi Purpose Template
With this group of posts, I will combine photographic effects and photo matting compliments. The first offering is a flower shot that has been enhanced to bring out a nice texture in the picture. Though it is hard to improve on Mother Nature, it is sometimes possible to make a better photo by enhancing the shot using some special effects. This shot could be used as a multi purpose template by adding text to the picture, bringing more value to the purchase of the image. Digital Photo Matting
The last post in this series was contributed by a proud winner of the first bizarro ugly block award. I am sure there are some contenders for the title on this planet, but there were none who cared to compete for the title. If you have something ridiculous in mind, I can help. Humorous Awards
This post explains what happens to lost articles when we forget to take good care of our things. One man’s loss is another man’s artifact? Many such journeys of the imagination are possible. Since other sites do not offer to turn your photos into comedic twists, I hope to get you to part with some cash for the sake of your own sense of humor, even if you do not particularly appreciate mine. If you think you can do better, get busy tapping out an email to me, and see where it leads.
Humorous Thoughts
My next post in the series demonstrates how I can take an image and create a theme around the baseline photograph, using some unexpected twists to achieve a different humorous perspective. The whole idea is to use the combination of photo matting techniques combined with actual photos to result in something fun and new. Since everyone likes humor, even though all humor is not a sure fired hit, having humorous material for your digital picture frame will at least be a good conversation starter for your guests. If you need help, you can send me your photo, and I will try to work out a way to get some laughs from it. Click on the image to see a higher resolution version of it.
Humorous Photo Matting
I have no real explanation for the substance of the following image. I was walking alone one evening letting my mind wander, and the thought that came to mind was as shown, so I made it real. The idea seemed humorous to me, so I hope you will find it amusing as well. To see a higher resolution version of the picture, click on it. Roscoe?
