Up Up and Away

I decided to post this creation because I liked the photo of a quiet flowery glade at a local arboretum taken during our last visit to the location.  It is not unusual to find artists scattered around the grounds using the beautiful surroundings as inspirations for their paintings.  The matting for the photo was created from the colors taken from another photo taken in the area, and altered to become the background for the photo.  If you would like to win a free copy of this picture, just add your comment, and mention you would like to participate in my Comment Roulette Contest.  Every week, I will select from comments left by participants who mention wanting to win the contest, and send out a free copy of a favorite site photo via email.  Of course, you can always purchase  a copy of your favorite photo treatment whenever you like.

Have you ever wondered how Kermit the Frog spends his time before he goes on camera?  We captured this exclusive photo of Kermit waiting for his next appearance in “the green room.”  Okay, maybe it is not the beloved Kermit himself, but we did the best we could.

By now, my regular visitors have had the opportunity to recognize my personal fascination with flowers.  Since the presentation of flowers means many things to many people, I am adding another whimsical matted flower to the collection with a composition I call “Flower in a Bubble”.  Enjoy.

The next picture was composed from a shot taken at one of my favorite arboretums, with the rest of the action created from an imaginary turbulent stream.  Every so often something like this comes along for me to enjoy and share.  Click on the picture for a higher resolution look.  This looks great on a computer screen and in a digital picture frame.
