This week centers on the Valentine’s Day theme. There is a curious tendancy for some to refer to the holiday as “Valentimes Day” rather than the correct reference in honor of Saint Valentine. As our language ages, there are a number of misdirections picked up by those who learn words by ear more than by spelling reference. A person at work swore that “chester drawers” was the correct reference to a chest of drawers. In matters of love, the words are important, so make sure you get it right. On with the show.

Hi – very good site you have established. I enjoyed reading this posting. I did want to issue a remark to tell you that the design of this site is very aesthetically sweet. I used to be a graphic designer, now I am a copy editor in chief for a merchandising firm. I have always enjoyed working with computers and am trying to learn code in my spare time (which there is never enough of lol).
