One of the rare inexpensive sights we took in during our travels in Springfield MO, was the Japanese gardens tucked away in a quiet spot. The admission price was $3 for adults. While we were visiting, there was some ongoing construction on the grounds, but there was plenty to grace the camera lens in this nice little park. Since we decided not to visit Fantastic Caverns, which is a widely advertised attraction in the area, and also relatively Bransonesque in its admission price, we were glad to find this inexpensive jewel to spend some time in the cool shade on a hot day.
